Attainment 8 is a score of how well our students have performed in a range of 8 subjects (including English, Maths, Science, History or Geography and a modern foreign language. The national average score in England is around 46.7 each year.

English Baccalaureate
The English Baccalaureate (EBacc) is a set of GCSE subjects. Secondary schools are measured on the number of pupils that take GCSEs in these core subjects. The government’s ambition is to see 75% of pupils studying the EBacc subject combination at GCSE by 2022, and 90% by 2025. The EBacc is:
