Discovering a shared love for basketball, they chose it as the theme of their poem. They wrote one line of each stanza in Mandarin, then read their poem aloud to the class—alternating between English and Mandarin. It sounded wonderful!

As a reward, they won a bag of chocolate. It was Zhu’s first time tasting English chocolate, and he said he absolutely loved it!
