The first session, led by Adam, provided a fascinating introduction to A level English language, with students exploring the power of language and the ways in which it shapes our understanding of gender. The second session, led by Jen, offered a whistle-stop tour of dystopian literature, encouraging students to discuss and consider how these texts reflect aspects of the world we live in today.

The visit gave students an excellent insight into studying English beyond GCSE and the exciting opportunities it can offer.
