The week included inspiring visits to the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum in London, where students explored everything from cutting-edge technology to the history of our planet. They also visited the National Space Centre in Leicester, taking part in a planetarium session focused on astronaut education and an interactive workshop, Our Earth Under Threat.

Back at school, students put their creativity and engineering skills to the test by designing and building their own 2-litre bottle rockets. Working in teams, they refined their designs before launching them in a friendly competition, with some spectacular results.

Congratulations to Lola and Brooke, whose brilliantly engineered Bob the Minion-themed rocket was crowned this year's winning design.

A huge thank you to Mr. Field and Mrs. Sharman for organising such an inspiring and memorable pathway, which gave students the opportunity to experience science beyond the classroom while developing teamwork, creativity and problem-solving skills.
