Assemblies will focus on the importance of inclusivity in the curriculum and signposting the significant contributions to British history made by black women in a variety of different contexts. Students will be introduced to significant black women from the past and present that have helped shape Britain in a myriad of ways. Throughout the school, we will be displaying stories of women who have changed their fields or provided inspiration in ways which are linked to different subjects/faculties and students will be encouraged to engage with their stories as we reflect on the diversity of our heritage and society.
