International Women's Day - Biggest Ever Football Session
On 8th March, we took part in the 'Biggest Ever Football Session' for International Women's Day which involved running football tournaments in all girls' PE lessons.
England Football confirmed that 'a record breaking 465,000 girls from 5,000 schools across England' were due to 'take part in the FA and Barclays' third session as part of the Let Girls Play campaign', so we were delighted to contribute towards this! We had so much fun and hopefully this will encourage more girls to join our football club on Thursdays after school.
