The workshop was delivered by IEMusic, who specialise in delivering curriculum relevant music workshops in UK schools. Workshop leaders and attending artists offer up-to-date music industry advice in a fun and engaging way.

Our students worked in small groups and were able to explore their songwriting and performance skills over the course of a full day under the supervision of attending artist, Alex Hawkins. Each group then took to the stage to demonstrate their work and received artist and class feedback.

At the end of the day, students became an audience for an inspirational performance by Alex himself as well as a careers talk and question time from the workshop leader.
