Tommy's Refereeing Journey
Earlier this year, Tommy began working as a linesman for local youth football matches. He enjoyed it so much that he decided to pursue refereeing more seriously. In March, he completed and passed his FA referee course. Since then, he has officiated seven matches across various age groups, from under-8s to under-14s.
Tommy has refereed games for several local clubs, including Norwich United, Blofield, Acle, and Salhouse. A highlight was officiating a match for Hemsby, the team his brother George plays for—a proud moment for their parents.
He loves refereeing, which is helping him develop valuable life skills and maintain his fitness. Now a Level 7 referee, Tommy is looking forward to officiating at summer tournaments after his exams and continuing into the new season in September.
