Spring Term	*2O Democracy & Nazism*: The Racial State, 1933-41	The radicalisation of the State; Nazi policies towards the Jews, 1933-37; the development of Anti-Semitic policies, 1938-40; Policies towards the Jews, 1940-41	Students will be continually assessed through a range of methods, including factual knowledge quizzes and source and interpretation analyses. Students will regularly write full essays for both units under timed conditions.

Summer Term	Democracy & Nazism: The Impact of War, 1939-45.	The impact of war on German society; the wartime economy; The Final Solution; Opposition & resistance in wartime.	Students will be continually assessed through a range of methods, including factual knowledge quizzes and source and interpretation analyses. Students will regularly write full essays for both units under timed conditions.
